Dieter Deventer (52) Film Director and D.o.P. for over 30 years. He was one of the first river surfers and is still one of the people you will most likely meet at the river. He lives with his family in Munich and they all share the fascination for surfing. Dieter is one the the few people who know all about the history of riversufing.Tschetan, alias Marc Stefan Gassert (28) as a magician he is one of the best in his profession. But his heart beats for surfing. Starting only eight years ago he became one of the best surfers in in Munich and is even sponsored by a well-known surf label.Quirin Rohleder (29) is a sportsjournalist, working for the biggest European surf magazine and presenting international pro contests of the ASP tour. Before that he was a competition surfer and once he even defeated legendary Kelly Slater.Walther Strasser (45) is probably the most bizarre character at the “Eisbachâ€. The didgeridoo maker lives in Sardinia and Munich, always looking for the perfect wave. He was the first who developed utilities to optimize the wave.Markus Gruber (34) is dedicated to river surfing. In close cooperation with engineers and streaming technicians he developed a construction to produce the perfect wave in the river. Surfer dreams become true - right in the middle of Munich. The city council confirmed the support for “tube6â€.
