I've become a bit of a workaholic over the years, which, if you knew me in high school that probably doesn't seem possible, but yes, I work too much. It's my life. Well that and my daughter :-D I got lucky with how cute she turned out.
I play saxophone in the United States Army Band by job description but I'm also the Senior Operations Sergeant and Drum Major, you know, the guy that marches with the "big stick" in front of the band ;-) The more rank I get the less it seems I get to play my axe although I'm trying to play more again. I lived in Germany for the first 5 years of my Army career, moved to Georgia (Ft. Benning) and loved it so much I moved right back to Germany. After 6 non-consecutive years of living in Europe though, the Army decided to bring it to an end. It only took the Army having to move the whole Division to get me out. So here I am, continuing to serve in the 1st Infantry Division just not in Europe but in Ft. Riley, Kansas. It isn't as bad as I once thought. I just love this Division too much :-) DUTY FIRST!
