My Interests

I'm a big martial arts freak, from Kung-Fu to Capoeira, everything goes. Snowboarding on a sunny winter's day, bliss! Anything that involves challenge, focus and skill.

Playing "Singstar"on my PlayStation3. I'm a disastrous singer, though. I enjoy coffee drinking someplace sunny, scuba diving and visiting Apple stores around the World.

I'm a firm believer in the "learn a skill" philosophy during workouts. I'm interested in usefull fitness that helps me run, jump, kick and punch. Explosive short training sessions that don't require equipment. Daily weight lifting sessions just for the point of growing big muscles? Pointless. There are so many more interesting activities out there to try out.

Dream holiday? A hike in Borneo's rain forest, tomb raiding Cambodia's ruins, later buy shoes and drink coffee in Rome, eat Bangkok's incredible food, get some sun on Miami Beach and later fall asleep in my own bed at home.

Music:

Sandpaper Kisses by Martina Topley-Bird. And anything by Angelo Badalamenti, the composer of the Twin Peaks Soundtrack. Late night @ home alone I like to listen to dreamy, mellow yet slightly weird drum 'n base 'n jazz 'n chill sound.

Movies:

Kill Bill, Mulholland Drive, Crash, Aliens and James Bond in Goldfinger.

Television:

"Twin Peaks" and "24". After spending a few hours with Jack Bauer I constantly feel like the president of the United States will call my mobile any second. I can't stand the sound of bird noises early morning after a full night filled with too many episodes of "24".

Books:

Harry Potter, of course. Loved The Deathly Hallows.

Heroes:

Steve Jobs for the iPod and IPhone, Lara Croft, JK Rowling. And basically any performer who - even though things go wrong, shoes come undone, pants rip to pieces, the wrong piece of music is playing, the stage is falling apart - does a great professional job on stage.
