The Friday Night Jam at The Glass House Gallery of Williamsburg, Brooklyn was held from the founding of the gallery in November 2004, till the closing of the gallery in April 2006.
Leviticus was the patriarch of the Friday Night Jam at the Glass House Gallery, and documented it with his video camera. His strength kept the jam going.
Eddie Alfaro's poetry was an important force during the Friday Night Jam, and his line artwork was found all over the gallery. Daniel Heslin "Maze", a great dedicated artist in his own right was a strong steady influence to the Friday night jam and the gallery itself. Daniel is called "Maze", known for his intricate expertly designed mazes, and is also an accomplished mosaic artist.
Lisa Renko is a painter as well as a performance artist, a walking piece of art, and a true lover of it. Her influence during the friday night jam was one of shock and awe.
Kwadjo Anakwa's expertly delivered guitar riffs were a foundation piece to the gallery as well as the friday jam. Myles Emery brought his passion and true grit of life into the mix, in finely tuned, special appearances.
Joe is a master at sculpture, and finding things to make the sculpture out of. His magic powers of finding lost or discarded treasures were an all important part of the gallery itself, and his full of life contributions to the Friday night jam were a very special part of it.
These characters were a core group, but the Friday night jam at the Glass House Gallery and the gallery itself consisted of many many people, here and there, everywhere who took part, contributing their special talents and energies.
