Born and raised in Miami, Fl MTS (Myztic Tha Silencer) started rapping at the young age of 10. Under the guidance of his older brother 2-Tall, Myztic developed an appreciation for Hip-Hop music. His influences ranged from Tupac, Master P and the No Limit Soldiers, The Notorious B.I.G and Outkast. Concerned with her son's rough upbringing in "LiL Haiti" Miami, Myztic's mother sent him and his brother to live with their father in Naples, Fl. The adjustment from the big city to a small town was difficult for Myztic so he found himself doing what he knows best. In 1996, at the age of 12 Myztic along with his cousin 2-Shy formed the group "Flesh-N-Blood". They improved their rhyming skills by making tapes on a karaoke machine. A couple years later, the boys added three members to the group and named themselves "Front-Line Brigade". In 1998, "Front-Line Brigade" was signed to a local record deal with LSP Records in which they released "South State of Mind" and "The Manifestation". Although in Naples, Fl Myztic frequently returned to his roots in Miami where he recorded his albums. Despite his efforts to keep the group together, several members decided to go their separate ways. By 2002, the group was broken up leaving Myztic to carry the torch on his own. Always up for the challenge, Myztic packed his bags and returned to his hometown. He wasted no time getting started as a solo artist. Myztic released three mix tapes in a three year period. "The Streetz is Listenin'" was released in 2005, "Da Next Level Part I" in 2006 and "Da Next Level Part II" in 2007. He continues to collaborate with various artist in Miami such as C-Ride, DJ Epps and 2-Shy (an original member of "Front-Line Brigade"). This self made star continues on his quest as CEO of his own record label "305 Zoes," in which he shows recognition to the place he calls home. Myztic is now at work on his latest album which is still untitled.
