Las Vegas, NV, August. 27-30This past MAGIC we debuted our new Holiday 07 Line. The entire line, from t-shirts to jackets, is cut & sewn in Los Angeles, Ca. For this season, we introduced our new reversible jackets as well as our custom crewneck sweaters. The response to the new line was overwhelming! The fact that the entire line is crafted in Los Angeles gives us the opportunity to control quality as well as quickly make decisions to speed up the production process. For Spring/Summer 08', look out for v-neck tee's, lightweight mesh jackets, pincord shorts, and a variety of new styles throughout the line to keep you fresh all summer long.
Bun B [UGK] Feat. Outkast
"International Player's Anthem" Video
The leas single off of UGK's double disc release, "Underground Kings", is lifted "International Player's Anthem". The song features a guest appearance from Outkast. Bun B chose to wear our "Wings & Things" New Era fitted cap for his scenes in the video. The video received massive rotation on MTV, BET and all other major video outlets. This has helped further brand our "Wing & Things" logo, which is quickly becoming our most recognized identity. In fact, we sold out of the hat online in 2 days! We will continue to work with Bun B/UGK on future projects. Bun B is a huge fan of the line himself an supports us 100%.
The Federation Feat. Snoop Dogg
"Happy I met You" Video
The lead single off of the Federation's sophmore release, "It's Whatev", is titled "Happy I Met You". The song features a guest appearance from Snoop Dogg. Stressmatic standing in the middle of the picture to the right, chose to wear our "Bright Lights" t-shirt for his scenes in the video. The video has also received major rotation on MTV, BET and all other major video outlets. This has once again helped us to brand the 9Grand logo and create more awareness of the brand. We will continue to work with The Federation on future projects.
Can Goods Industry Event
Hotel Pool Party, San Fransisco, Ca
On Sept. 16th, 2007 the streetwear industry took over SF, Ca for a day of fun and networking. The famous Phoenix hotel was chosen to host this event. This was an invite only event for the brands. The good people at HUF hand-picked the brands that they felt represented the industry in the right manner. Liver performances, and a fashion show dong with food and drinks made this even next to none. Brands such as The Hundreds, Crooks & Castles, Diamond Supply, Red Clay, Gold Chain and more were also invited. More Can Goods events are planned to be held in Los Angeles, Hawaii, Las Vegas and New York. 9Grand will be a part of every single Can Goods event in the future.
Joe Exclusive (Celebrity Stylist)
Celeb stylist, product placement, etc.
We are currently working with various stylists such as Joe Exclusive to increase awareness of 9Grand. Joe's past and present clients include: Kimora Lee Simmons, Ja Rule, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese, Russell Simmons, DMX, Tyra Banks, Terry Vaughn, Lisa Raye, Kyla Pratt, Lennox Lewis, Jennifer Freeman, the list goes on and on and on. Joe has recently tapped us for product to be placed in an upcoming Toyota Scion commercial that will air nationwide.
