Welcome to the frozen North and Alaskan Hip Hop at it's best. Josh Silva a.k.a Redd started his music career with 50 Belo Records a local record label in 1994. After their relocation to California, Redd chased his dream of putting Alaska on the map. Dubbed the pioneer of the Interior's Hip Hop scene. Redd has succeeded in his plans to "get Alaska heard". With his first solo release "Orgnizdrkus"(Orgin-izd-rukus), released 2001, then in 2002 with a duet album "Clearer than Black and White". Collaborating with the artist Dolla B at his side, the album sold over 250 copy's in it's first hour's on the shelf's overwhelming the Interior's market. The third release from ReddDott was I.M.W (Interiors Most Wanted) released in 2004 has sold over 5500 copies to date and featured over 32 individual artist's. The forth release coming out of ReddDott was "Hastyle Reign A Warriors Tale" released in 2005. Then in 2007 the release of King Slims Crown'd Royal. The next big project for ReddDott is the sophmore release from Redd. Due to hit the streets spring of 09' Trapped In The Land of The Frozen. Featuring some big names in the industry. Collaboration tracks with Dru-Down, Yuk Mouth,Tech N9NE, Krizz Kalico,& Cutt Kalhoun. With Production from producers such as the SUPPER PRODUCER Sean T, local heavy hitter E-Magnificent,and more.
The dream and goal behind ReddDott Productions is to being dedicated to bringing the rest of the world, Home Grown Alaskan Hip hop and always strive to be the best at what we do.ReddDott Productions has been billed as a featured act around the state of Alaska.Opening for major acts such as Rick Ross 06', Lil Scrappy 07',Young Buck (G-Unit) '07,Dip Set's - 40 Cal & Freeky Zeek 07', Mista F.A.B , Keak Da Sneak, & Too $hort (Summer JAm 07'). They have performed at the state fair 6 years and running,all the hottest night clubs,and private shows,including charity events such as Foodstock 2000,&2001.ReddDott Productions has developed the theme rap for The Resorce Center For Parents And Children.ReddDott Productions was featured at the B.E.T. Comic All-Stars event.ReddDott Productions has collaborated with artist from across the state and the lower 48 as well,the most recent collaberation's were with the Kansass city King TECH N9NE, Bigg Krizz Kaliko, & Kutt Kalhoun, also with one of the Bay Area's Bosses YUCK MOUTH, and we have also worked with Yae Area Legend DRU DOWN.
