so i've got to attempt to describe myself in a user friendly soundbite have i? i'm a lazy sod who wants everything to be as easy as possible so i can concentrate on daydreaming about stuff that's never going to happen in real life. i like hanging out with the people that are on my friends list and the ones that aren't on there because they can't be arsed with myspace. i wish i was a millionaire so i didn't have to work ever again so i could do what i want, when i want. i'm a remarkably cheerful chap seeing as i hate about 95% of everything. some of the things i hate include in no particular order..jade goody,the font comic sans,full up single decker buses,when people finish a sentence like it's a question,when grown adults use phrases like "lol", "omg", "lmfao" etc..apostrophe abuse,americanisms creeping into the english language,clowns,men on stilts,the scissor sisters,management lingo,bandwagon jumping,people who can't think for themselves,really shit pimped up kev-mobiles,people who say they don't like starwars when they haven't even seen it properly,so called football fans that don't support their local team,bad cover versions of obvious household name songs,people who just walk into the road and expect traffic to stop for them,wankers who don't know how to say "please" or "thank you",itv comedies,small heath,bees and wasps,religion,that fine rain that soaks you through,dissapointing sequels,the vast majority of modern day tv,when westerners attempt to do anime,unrealistic impressions of birmingham accents,political correctness,the demise of british industry,when complete strangers ask if you have a spare cigarette,casual gamers,people riding push bikes in the wrong gear,those stupid extending dog leads,health and safety in the workplace,when there's no metros on the bus in the morning,the new corporate identity for west midlands travel,and so on. i'll add more when i get the urge to. here's some stuff i like....people who make me laugh,the smell of hot tar,my moms cooking,the west midlands,compliments,films that make no sense but look cool,regional identity,long lie ins,being off my chops,air guitaring,the sound of falling rain on a window,stories about the good old days,that feeling you get when you watch a studio ghibli film,when you know theres no one else like you,when i see a vintage car go down the road,conversations about taking the scenario of a cartoon and taking it too literally,reminiscing about old tv ads, chocolate bars/ crisps, video games and long defunct tv programmes,mischevious dogs,the bit in live at pompeii when roger waters is whacking the fuck out of the gong.staring at cloud formations,martin brundle's pit walks,the sound of ronnie lane's voice,.....stay tuned for updates if you can be arsed...
