F1

F1 is a collaboration on many levels between various musicians in and around Binghamton, New York. BLACK SMOKE OVER TOWN, the debut 11 song album, is now finished and in the process of being mastered. The music is performed by Mike Gelunas and Chad Dean from MCDEEGEE, Jimmyjohn McCabe and Jim Lomonaco from YOLK, and Angela Timon from IF MAN IS FIVE. Don Friedricksen performs a couple guitar solos as well, on Without Day and Dream respectively. The songs are written by Mike Gelunas, Chad Dean, Chris Ruffo, Mike McNeal annd Jimmyjohn McCabe. The album is produced by Jimmyjohn McCabe and Jeff DaBella. The mastered version becomes available in the summer of 2008.A second album is also in the process of being recorded and will feature 10 new songs. The album has the same production team but features two new members. Kevin Kober (bass) and Bob Aiken (guitar) of the amazing instrumental group SWATH are recording with Jimmyjohn McCabe, Mike Gelunas and Chad Dean. The album is set for a winter release as a quick follow up to BLACK SMOKE OVER TOWN.Stay tuned!
