About Me

Always Under Construction!
MOUSE OVER PICTURES FOR CAPTION
In Memory of Our Fallen Leaders:
-Bea Halkett
-Ruth Willard
-Ray Smith, K'alaxeitl'
We break it down and give it all we got.
We're proud people. Dancing is in our blood. And that is what we teach our kitz.
When you dance, put your heart into it.
Stand tall and proud.
& sin' real loud!
Know who you are, and where you come from, because no one can ever take that away from you and it can take you where you need to go.
Our group formed in 1986 for our kitz.
Our Children and Elder, Grandma Helen Skeek are our inspiration.
We are not T&H of A without our kitz.
Our members are originally from the villages of Yaakw.daat, Tlaakwaan, Taku, Keex', and even a full-blooded Inupiaq from Point Lay, and these places will always be our homes. We have been fortunate to have many wonderful leaders teach us songs, including: Carmen Quinto, Linda Dewitt, Ray Wilson, Chubby Skeek and Paul Marks I.
