We are Jeni, Lesley, Lorna & Claire and we are a female four part harmony acapella quartet!We have been singing together in this line up for over 4 years and we competed in various competitions both at home and overseas.We even auditioned in front of Simon Cowell, Sharon Osbourne & Louis Walsh for the tv show "The X Factor".We all share a general love for all kinds of music & singing. Lesley & Lorna are sisters and Jeni is their lifelong friend. Claire has been a part of the extended family for over ten years now. We have great fun both singing and socialising!We are lucky enough to have been coached by some great people and great friends over the years, including Roy Dawson (composer of "Barbershop Song"), Doug Harrington and most recently Nancy & Sandra from European Quartet Champions, Eu4ia.We all also belong to a chorus called "Heartbeat", a group of over 40 ladies who know how to work hard and play harder!!! Heartbeat have sung all over the UK and Europe and even claimed third spot at the Llangollen International Eisteddfod in Wales in July 2006. The inspiration behind the group is Lesley Carson, herself a gold medalist quartet lead, and who is repsonsible for motivating and directing us to all the success we have acheived so far.As a quartet we have recently competed in our first Sweet Adelines competition where we placed 10th out of 24 quartets and had one of the best weekends ever!!!
