What you should know about me...hmmm, well, I grew up in Madison, CT. My parents still live there, but I can assure you that I will never move back. I've never witnessed so much damn road contruction in my life. They've been working on 95 for the past 15 yrs!! Ugh, don't get me started. Anyway, I attempted college for a hot 3 months (shout out to Mars Hill) in North Carolina. After about the 11th week I was over it and came back to Madison. I ended landing an intership at KC101. Dropping out of college and getting that intership was the best move I'd ever made. I met Stu there, and the rest is history. I've been in radio for almost nine yrs, six being here at Q102.People ask me all the time what kind of music I like. I am in LOVE with country. It's all I listen to outside of being on the air weekdays 10-2. I know, crazy, but it's addicting. I HATE heavy metal, and oldies. Stu and I own every one of Frank Sinatra's and Tony Bennett's albums. We're addicted. Just recently I was in Vegas for the Billboard Music Awards and got to interview Tony Bennett. What an honor. He is amazing!In my spare time, I love to shop (if you listen to my show then you already know that). Hang out with my friends (and their babies), exercise, drive around and investigate new areas, eating sushi, going to the movies, working in my yard, frequenting NYC, buring yankee candle tarts (hollyberry is a good one for this time of the year), browsing the isles of Pier One and Home Goods, making weekly trips to Target and spending time with Stu and Phoebs of course. I desperately want to learn how to knit. My sister is a pro and has made a zillion scarfs already. Me on the other hand?? Not so much. I am terrible at it. I got something going last year, and messed up a few stitches, got so frustrated, I ended up taking it all apart. Two needles and a ball of thread have been sitting in my closet for past year. Another thing you may not know about me, is that I LOVE to clean. I am constantly cleaning. No joke. I have two vacumes, one for upstairs, one for downstairs. I have every swiffer product on the market. I love to dust and I mop my floors twice a week. I even dirt devil the strip of carpeting going up my stairs!! A little excessive I know, but I've always been a freak like that.We live Bucks county. Stu works on the Glenn Beck program, doing both the radio show and the tv show. He commutes into NYC during the week. That is why we moved to this lovely area. It's so close to NYC. I actually go up there every week to meet up with Stu and our friends. Living in Bucks county is great. You get the best of both worlds. Most people that reside around here work in Manhatten.I do a lot of voice work for other radio shows, and really want to persue the tv thing. I did the American Music Awards last year, and I'm looking forward to doing them again this year. I was on the 10 show (NBC) for a while when I was doing mornings. Then I moved to mid-days and well, the 10 show went away (their loss).Thanks for checking out my page and I love you for listening. Call me whenever.
