Check out WEBE 108-FM...it the best music variety and fun for you every afterternoon between 2-7pm along with traffic, weather, requests, news, interviews with the stars and lots more too!I am a huge music fan with over 25,000 titles in my personal collection. Additionally, that includes a variety of classic radio shows, news and sports events, rare recordings, commericials and thousands of hours of classic TV and movies from the 1930s to present. I love antiques and have a variety of collections from amusement Park memorabilia to coffee mugs to classic toys to political posters, pins and bumper stickers to rock music to ancient art.Have been involved in our community, living in Cranston almost all my life. I have raised funds for Toys for Tots, Make a Wish, Austism Speaks, St. Jude Children's Hospital, New York victims relief and served as an advisory board member of Big Brothers.As an announcer, I began DJing parties in 1992 which my production company, BBOR continues to book, in addition to club nights and events. We've played in every corner of RI from Westerly's beaches to Downcity Providence to Barrington's country clubs to MA farmland. Additonally I do voiceover through the company and syndication. We successfully developed and launched programs including "Show Me the 90s". Further we've produced specials for Reelradio.com and am a published columnist in FMQB Magazine. Also can be seen hosting on RI Public Television, WSBE-36.On the radio I've worked every shift (including overnights :) and held a variety of behind the scenes positions. I started out in 1993 at the oldies station in Providence as an intern and worked my way up through the ranks over the next seven years (working at a small alternative rock station at the same time for awhile-it switched to smooth jazz while I was there) I worked in both Bridgeport and Groton, CT plus in New Bedford, MA also before heading to CBS Boston where I worked at WODS and WBMX before returning to host a huge nightshow in Providence. From there it was to Philadelphia's Q102 and then New York's Z100. After a return to Boston part time to work on "Show Me the 90s" full time(and going back to college) I jumped at the chance to join the winning team at Cat Country 98.1 WCTK back in Providence in 2003 for five years we achieved amazing success and had a blast doing it reaching number one in the ratings several times!In May 2008, I was thrilled to join on of America's truly legendary FM stations at WEBE 108 serving Fairfield, New Haven, Westchester, Bronx Counties, Long Island and the world at WEBE108.com Hope you'll tune in and join me along with updates from Anne Roundpierre on traffic Mike Belleamy on news live and local each day.
