Love is not a victory march. It's a cold and it's a broken Hallelujah.

About Me

I'm just some girl. I work in a factory and in my spare time I hang out with friends, write and draw naked ladies.

I really don't give a shit what you think of me. I tend to surprise people and defy categorization. Don't like being pigeonholed, but if calling me a hippie/goth/leftist/artiste/grunge kid/woman/cracker/purple mutant from space is the only way you can deal with my existence, that's fine. It won't hurt my feelings- I've got a forcefield. There are so many sides to me, I'm pretty sure no one knows me fully, not even my mother.
Still clueless as to what to do with my life- all I know is it will be something creative...writing, art, music and other people top my priority list, and if I can reach people somehow, I'll be happy. My biggest goal in life right now is to be interesting and have fun. The more I experience, the better stories I can tell. Money only interests me because I need it.

I dig food and I dig rock and roll. I dig spinning tales as much as I dig hearing them, and I'm trying to write a novel. I also dig singing and dancing, even though I'm not really very good at either, which is why I stick to writing. Mostly.

I believe in an innocence that has nothing to do with abstinence, a spirituality that has nothing to do with the institution of religion, and a love that won't even eat at the same lunch table as match.com. I don't feel like explaining this.

Hobbies writing, painting, loving, making things, hearing and spinning tales, listening to and making music, taking photos, keeping journals, creating and appreciating beauty, gratuitous eating and sleeping, learning, drawing, collecting books and underwear, dreaming, cooking up money-making schemes, drinking hot chocolate, shopping Goodwill for weird hand-me-downs with potential, staying up all night drinking and talking with good friends, rocking.
Artists I Adore I very much appreciate the old master painters, especially Parrish, Waterhouse, Bouguereau, Mucha, and fantasy artists and illustrators like John Anster Fitzgerald, Edward Burne-Jones, Arthur Rackham, Edward Robert Hughes, Richard Dadd, and Ida Rentoul-Outhwaite. But I also have a major appreciation for more "low-brow" art forms- I'm enamored with tattoo art, comic/graphic art, pinups, animation, and 60's gig posters in that tripped-out, faux-Nouveau style. I love the late Marty Emond and Sailor Jerry, David Mack, Brom, Jhonen Vasquez, Bill Watterson, Ross Campbell. Norman Rockwell was a master. So was Gil Elvgren. I like Rion Vernon, Aaron Jasinski, Linda "Enayla" Bergkvist, Ursula Vernon, and Liselotte "Minnaloushe" Eriksson. Relative unknowns you should definitely Google include Desiree Isphording, Isa Maria, Jim Sweet, Morgana Wallace, Tegan Coddington, Christina Beller, Erin Kelso, Jeff Simpson, and Felix Eddy. Ten zillion more. I love artists of all shapes and sizes. 3 With all the other people's art I look at and admire, I have an inferiority complex so big it's surprising I get anything done at all.

I'd like to meet:

...anybody fun and interesting with an I.Q. higher than that of spinach, who won't stalk me and do funny things to my butt. I know. I'm paranoid. *adjusts her tinfoil hat*

The Obligatory Celeb List:

I'd like to have lunch with Marilyn Manson. He seems like an intelligent, interesting, funny guy.

I'd like to have a beer with Ed Kowalczyk. Or two. Or three... Actually as many as it would take to lure him into bed.
