Who is Dahlia??? I am a singer/songwriter coming straight out of New York...Queens to be exact! I have been singing and writing for years. I've had the opportunity to be featured on Erick Sermon's Chilltown, New York album (2004 Universal). I have also worked with artists/producers like NeoFactory, Motesart, Battery 5, Brandon Beal, Danny Santiago, Alfonzo Hunter, Troblesum, Silent Order, DJ Spider and G4 Tracks. As my accomplishments contribute to a constant work in progress, I continue my grind working on my solo project while writing for others in the process.Why I write??? Writing is a passion that I hold close and there are very few things that compare to it. I am definitely a storyteller. I write because I want to capture strong emotion. It feels good to write and be able to know that the listener can feel each and every emotion that you do. I dream for the day that I can express my gratitude to those who have inspired me, thanking them with the perfect song.But until then…I create. I create for the love of music. I create for my sanity. I create in preparation.
