And I'm alive. Press on move out. An older image to consume. You'll come back, faithful, resting on

About Me

I'm 19, a Sophomore at Lake Forest College, and currently pursuing Psychiatry. I have two amazingly caring parents and an amazing brother. Thanks for all your advice and help over the years bro, I love ya man. I love music, rainy days, and obscure movie references. Psychological-terror movies and the horror genre are my thing right now, so woo! I'm extremely easy to talk to and if you want some good, honest advice, I'm your man. I've been through my own shit over the past few years, so I know my way about some things...but I'm still very much in a continuous progression of learning, as I've realized time-and-time again. One day, I'm almost believing something's completely true in my thinking only to find out that the next day, I think the opposite! Things're crazy in this world, but if you have any inkling of what I've just said, you're about as human as me. And seeing as how you're human, we should mingle, lol. If you ever wanna chat, just IM me at these sns! I'm always waiting to meet new people, so rock on.

Possibly the best quote by a band ever:"Believe what we tell you. Keep turning pages and make reactions."
"Peace, love, and empathy." - Suzi
"Every time I throw it all back to the Universe, it mocks me by giving me something great" - Free Dominguez
"As the water grinds the stone, we rise and fall. As their ashes turn to dust, we shine like stars" - Covenant--Bullet
"For a long time it had seemed to me that life was about to begin--real life. But there was always some obstacle in the way, something to be gotten through first, some unfinished business, time still to be served, a debt to be paid. Then life would begin. At last it dawned on me that these obstacles were my life." - Alfred D. Souza
"Love begins with a smile, grows with a kiss, and ends with a teardrop" - Anonymous
"Walk in the rain, jump in mud puddles, collect rocks, rainbows and roses, smell flowers, blow bubbles, stop along the way, build sandcastles, say hello to everyone, go barefoot, go on adventures, act silly, fly kites, have a merry heart, talk with animals, sing in the shower, read childrens' books, take bubble baths, get new sneakers, hold hands and hug and kiss, dance, laugh and cry for the health of it, wonder and wander around, feel happy and precious and innocent, feel scared, feel sad, feel mad, give up worry and guilt and shame, say yes, say no, say the magic words, ask lots of questions, ride bicycles, draw and paint, see things differently, fall down and get up again, look at the sky, watch the sun rise and sun set, watch clouds and name their shapes, watch the moon and stars come out, trust the universe, stay up late, climb trees, daydream, do nothing and do it very well, learn new stuff, be excited about everything, be a clown, enjoy having a body, listen to music, find out how things work, make up new rules, tell stories, save the world, make friends with the other kids on the block, and do anything else that brings more happiness, celebration, health, love, joy, creativity, pleasure, abundance, grace, self-esteem, courage, balance, spontaneity, passion, beauty, peace, relaxation, communication and life energy to...all living beings on this planet." - Bruce Williamson
"Music is the divine way to tell beautiful, poetic things to the heart." -Pablo Casals
"There is no theory. You have only to listen. Pleasure is the law. I love music passionately. And because l love it, I try to free it from barren traditions that stifle it. It is a free art gushing forth, an open-air art boundless as the elements, the wind, the sky, the sea. It must never be shut in and become an academic art." - Claude Debussy
"For a person who lives 100 years in the future, the present comes as no surprise." - Viktor Schauberger
"There's no reason people who work have to be resigned to situations and endure circumstances when we all possess the power to create better futures." - John Renesch
"Two things fill the heart with renewed and increasing awe and reverence the more often and themore steadily that they are meditated on: the starry skies above me and the moral law inside me." -- Immanuel Kant
"The individual (no matter how well-meaning he might be, no matter how much strength he might have, if only he would use it) does not have the passion to rip himself away from either the coils of Reflection or the seductive ambiguities of Reflection; nor do the surroundings and times have any events or passions, but rather provide a negative setting of a habit of reflection, which plays with some illusory project only to betray him in the end with a way out: it shows him that the most clever thing to do is nothing at all." - Søren Kierkegaard
"I'm in a period of growth and expansion. I'm taking long, hard looks at the world and what's happening in it, analyzing and thinking. I'm trying to become acquainted with the universe -- with the part of it I occupy -- and trying to settle, for myself, what my relationship with it is." - Gene Roddenberry
"One of the most important-and most neglected-elements in the beginning of the interior life is the ability to respond to reality, to see the value and the beauty in ordinary things, to come alive to the splendour that is all around us." - Thomas Merton

My Interests

Well, I love music. That's probably one of the major things that defines me. I have to always be listening to music, so yeah. I also enjoy working out. I love drinking Coke and I love dogs. Movies are huge for me, especially independent film. Finally, I'd have to say I love Commons Park, rain, and the violin! I've had it for a year now and I still haven't tried it. I know, I'm horrible...this year, I promise.

I'd like to meet:

No one really...not into looking up to "idols" or "heroes," because their fame will almost always be impossible to achieve. The American Dream doesn't exist. Live your own life and be happy, people. Stop living in others' lives. The only person I'd ever want to meet again, would be my grandfather. I was never able to ask him a lot of the questions I always wanted to ask him.

I'll never forget one morning when Justin and I were little. I woke up in a haze for about 10 minutes in the dim (but nevertheless bright) glow of the low sun coming in from the window. We were sleepi...

Why not face today? Forever one to crawl out, fade out next to lazy, end it all within.

I don't know what to write in here anymore. Life's changing so fast. I've lived an entire semester of constant changing perceptions of the world, of my encounters with people. People are so different....
