About Me

Ok- for my friends that are bored and randomly perusing my profile at 2am in the morning- please message or IM me- I'm probably at work bored out of my mind :p
Let's see... a few words to describe me...
"So geeky, it hurts"
Tomboy... yeh, that's also quite fitting. My biggest long term goal is to be the biggest nerd most normal people will ever meet, and I think i'm succeeding well so far. (if you want proof, take a look at my car)
I'm majoring in psychology with a concentration in sports medicine. I'm a volunteer firefighter EMT. I'm the first American born in my family and the reason why my nieces and nephews will have an easier time with getting away with things when they grow up. *halo*
Saying that I'm a straight forward person is a nicer version of "obnoxiously blunt yet insightful." Apparently I give my best advice when I'm shouting and frustrated, as my friends have learned. I expect to either be made a god parent, or have a kid named after me for that reason.
I work two jobs and go to school full time so sleep is quite the luxury for me. I enjoy scaring my friends by telling them exactly how long it's been since my last full night of sleep was when I see them. Work hard; play harder, I suppose.
I can say much more, but I prefer to answer other things one on one :)

My Interests

firefighting, sleeping, reading, writing, drawing, painting, snowboarding, larping... now if i only had time for these things... I also do random volunteer work in my spare time. I'm going to school for psychology at the moment, and hoping to get my degree somewhere in the near-not so distant future.

I'd like to meet:

Music:

No Doubt, Matchbox20, and the Killers are bands that catch my ear...I'm really agreeeable, so most things except rap and old reggae will be appreciated.We Beneath is a totally rocking new band.

Movies:

Absolutley hate horror.I don't really have a favorite movies, I like ones that make me laugh...or at least smile, I am a damn sucker for a happy ending.Here are some things that i like: Boondock Saints, A Knight's Tale, American Wedding, Van Wilder, The Professional, etc. I know, genre jumper.

Television:

I use to love ALIAS, and the O.C. (I need to pick up those dvd sets) And of course to be cliche: The L-Word...Law and Order and CSI are great to pick up onOf course I still love cartoons every once in a while.

Books:

I'm not really big on contemporary fiction, at least for adult age. I'm known to skim around non-fiction information books at Borders. Pride and Predjudice is an old favorite... and of course I love to read Harry Potter and Lemony Snickets (like I said, I love children's books) Son of the Mob is quite good though.
