What the hell is The Jimmy Cooper Club? Well, I haven't figured it out
yet... A bunch of guys who like to play rock'n'roll together, write
their own songs just for the love of it and join for a drink even if
they're from different parts of the world. A year ago I happened to meet
Dave Harding, the best bass player I've ever known, in Austin, Texas, and
he was happy to join me in Florence to share some music and some fun.
One day I heard Marco Turchetti play in a small venue in the middle of
Nowhere, in Italy, and he became a friend of mine. To me, he's the best
drummer I've ever known (apart from Moonie, of course). At that time, I
would have loved to get back to my punk roots. So the three of us met
up and recorded some songs. Simple as that.
Future plans? Find the time to get back together. Find a club's stage
big enough to be filled by our stuff. Turn our amps loud. Shout and
shimmy. Smash our guitars. Get back home.

If you want to know more about Marco Turchetti, take a week off and
visit the Eastern coast of Italy. You'll find him under his drumkit in a
club somewhere.
