ABOUT SHANELLE SKIPWITH
Shanelle has a passion for singing which was embraced in the finals of the Wairarapa Primary School Idol contest winning her first place in the annual competition and in the hearts of a "fulled to capacity" audience at Masterton's recreation centre.
Performances on the night included runner up "John Samuelu", last years winner "Auburn Crombie" and the official NZ Idol's Nik Carlsson.
Important to note is that the event was Shanelle's first real public performacne and was dedicated to her late father, Rex Kapia Skipwith who passed away in January. Rex, a popular entertainer, had throughout his career shared the stage with Sir Howard and Temuera Morrison, Kylie Minogue, Jimmy Barnes and Tina Arena.
Proceeds from the Wairarapa Primary School Idol concerts go towards upgrades at the local Douglas Park Primary school which initiated and hosts the event.
We hope that you will join us in encouraging Shanelle to continue being a voice in song and to bring her vibrant spirit to the world stage.
