I am a native Texan who has grown up listening to progressive/alternative country music. My favorite type of country music is honky tonk. I love all types of Texas music and some that's not Texas, but should be! There are over 300 reviews on the web site right now. Something About Mary, Casa Blanca, any movie with Katharine Hepburn, Pretty Woman, Star Wars, old romantic comedies from the 40's and 50's, The Sting, almost anything with Paul Newman, Julia Roberts, or Brad Pitt in it. My all time fav is "Gone With the Wind" (I know you're laughing now!) ..

Television:

Two & Half Men, Grey's Anatomy, Judge Judy (gotta love her!), Austin City Limits, Survivor (when it's on), Dancing With The Stars, So You Think You Can Dance and American Idol.

Books:

I like auto-biographies, biographies of interesting people like Katharine Hepburn, Jackie O, Sam Houston, Billy Joe Shaver, and other famous people.I also like historic novels and history books (mostly Texas history and I like to read about The Civil War (the one between the North & South in the U.S.) I have been known to read a mystery or two along the way and of course, my Texas Music magazine, not to mention all the reading I do on the net for my website. The most recent book I've read (this year) is "Lone Star" A History of Texas and The Texans by T.R. Fehrenbach. If you like Texas history, this is a must read... Currently reading "The Chronicles of Narna"

Heroes:

My dad, my husband, my sister, my Aunt Adene (RIP) and many of my friends, especially Pat Prestage, who passed away on January 22, 2007, at the young age of 56. Our music family will never be the same without him, and he was and will always be one of my heroes. RIP, baby. .. .. .. ..
