About Me

IN SEARCH FOR EVERYTHING I LEFT BEHIND AND LOST......

My Interests

I'm very active, pretty much trying to do everything I can, but only cuz I REALLY love to EAT and love being outside....so the more I eat the more I play.....so far I shredded Mt. Baker (4x all powder), Stevens (4x, 1 day compact snow, 2 days had a dumpin the night before). Crystal (1x, compact and groomed, nothing dumped the night before), Mt. Hood (2X, 1st day nothin fresh, hard and compact, day 2 heavy dump over night, powder all day long), Alpental (1x, bad conditions, very heavy chunky snow and then icy at night), and this weekend it's Mt. Baker again, hoping for the best again, I'm SUPER STOKED....I'm so blessed, I love the Northwest....soon it's back to running (doing the Vancouver Marathon this May), biking, eskrima, softball, volleyball, and I hope to start kayaking this summer....ANYONE WANNA HANG!!!!

I'd like to meet:

THE PERSON I USED TO BE....

Music:

anything that get's me thinking about something else, i'm not prejudice against good music no matter where it's coming from, most music lovers I've meet are so into their particular sound they don't really LISTEN to what's out there.....I do love my new music though - MUSE (just listen to then, you'll see why), Amy Winehouse (can't help it, she's my girl, he old CD FRANK is my favorite), Jack Johnson (new CD is so smooth), Lupe Fiasco (he new CD is SICK), Sugarland (yep love me the Country, too).....and I can't stay away from the old stuff - Eagles, Metallica, Doors, Depeche Mode, Morrissey, all the Seattle grunge bands of the 90's, any and all 80's music from Air Supply to Journey to Poison (that's right I'm not ashamed), and I can't forget my New Wave (OMD, New Order, Erasure, etc....yes at one time in my life I was ashamed)....also, Island Music & Reggae will anyways be in my heart....but honestly, everything at some point sounds good, just depends on the mood....I just got Joss Stone at a discount CD store (I love her)...Also, learned of another band Vast (brillant)

Movies:

Pretty much like any movie I see, not too picky...but two movies that really stuck with me were Green Street Hooligans (just crazy) and A Good Year (my dream).

Television:

DON'T REALLY CARE TOO MUCH FOR IT LATELY....FOUND BETTER THINGS TO DO, LIFE'S MORE FUN OUTSIDE.

Books:

LAST YEAR IN DALLAS I'VE READ THE HISTORIAN BY ELIZABETH KOSTOVA, WICKED BY GREGORY MAGUIRE, LOLITA BY VLADIMIR NABOKOV, 2 BOOKS BY GABRIEL GARCIA MARQUEZ - LOVE IN THE TIME OF COLERA & LIVING TO TELL THE TELL, ALCHEMIST BY PAULO COELHO; AND SINCE I MOVED BACK TO SEATTLE IN SEPTEMBER I'VE READ THE LAST 3 BOOKS OF THE HARRY PORTER SERIES (YES I'M ALSO NOT ASHAMED), AMERICAN GANGSTER (THE MOVIE BOOK VERSION), FIVE BOOKS FROM BRAM STOKER (DRACULA, THE MYSTERY OF THE SEA, THE JEWEL OF SEVEN STARS, THE LADY OF THE SHROUD, & THE LAIR OF THE WHITE WORM), AND I JUST FINISH THE ROAD BY CORMAC MCCARTHY (LOVED IT READ IT TWICE)...NEXT I'M LOOKING FORWARD TO THE PILLARS OF THE EARTH BY KEN FOLLETT...had to give away all my books when I moved, so I'm starting fresh.

Heroes:

my grandparents......my parents......my nanay & tatay.........i pray for their strength
