Hello! We are a band named Ravenous and we play metal. Nowadays it is
easier to call us just metal. We used to do only thrash but now it seems
that our music has been influenced so much by other great stuff that there
is no point in labeling ourselves with just one genre anymore. Nevertheless
thrash metal is still fucking awesome!
Ravenous was formed in 2003 by a bunch of kids who wanted to play something
heavy. In 2005 we began to work on our own material and in the spring of 2007 we played our first ever gig. During the five years we have spent together we have made a few demos and played as many gigs as possible. We have also learned that this is probably the most meaningful thing in our lives. Unfortunately in the end of the summer of 2008 we had to depart from our original guitarist Arttu Peltonen because of his lack of time. We thank him.
Fortunately we found Juho Hakkarainen to replace him and the story could continue. Our first recording experience with him was in the fall of 2008 and we made a demo tape called "Bestial Legacy".
