"this is good, this is very good. we can incalculably control the outcome of occasions in our lives. we can do very big things! i truly believe that"-ME **********************._____________________________________ ______________________in an effort to shape this country into a great nation in the eyes of the world. we should stop putting forth so much fault on our government and start taking action.it's too easy to refrain from purchasing products that harm ourselfs as well as our plant. we don't have to keep fast food restaurants rich. they can exist in our lives without dictating what a fast meal will be. you see, it is not practical stop at the store and buy an apple instead of a big mack. we can't do that 100 percent of the time, i would say about 90 percent of the time. we don't have to be extreme, just consistant. if there wasn't such a demand for big macks, maybe there could be less mcdonald's. if there were more demand for healthy meals, then maybe could be more options, but it begins with us. not only with the food we eat but with everything we buy such as houshold products, services we use, and how we entertain ourselves, these things all matter. * oil prices have arguably caused a recession in our country. people have stopped driving their automobils as much as before and may have put to sleep the suv and well as other large vehicles. this is very well in part because people can lo longer afford to drive as much and buy expensive suvs that will drain their pocket books. this being said, with every action there is a reaction. * in our defense, i think our generation may have gotten a bum deal. these problems didn't occur overnight. they occured through years of american cultural trends. still this can change. yes we are going through hard times as a nation. we will rise above this and survive because i firmly believe that we are good people and good will in the end prevail.******** __________________________________________
