I'm a dynamic man who wants to live a simple life. I used to desire marriage and children, but I never found the right woman to fulfill my vision. Rather than feel sorry for myself for what I did not have, I have learned to be thankful for the wonderful life that I do have. There is a good reason things have transpired as they have. I had to learn to adapt so that I can recieve all that life has to offer. My goal is to use every waking moment improving upon my mind, body, and soul. All that I learn, I will pass on to others free of charge so that I may share my gifts and blessings with the rest of the world. A major part of my growth will come from an eclectic mix of friends, so I welcome all comers. I am a supportive friend who always has a joke and an inspirational word for anyone in need.

My Interests

I am intersted in psychology, spirituality, politics, sociology, relationships, family (especially children and their development), sports, music (especially my own),and most importantly the prepetuation of love. Only love can conquer hatred and heal the world...

I'd like to meet:

I'm not looking for a relationship, but I would like to meet and make more friends, especially in the Raleigh/Durham/Cary area. I am receptive to all new acquaintances ....

Music:

I am very eclectic when it comes to musical interest. The only music that I do not care for is anything that lacks lyrical substance, melodic flow, and a strong chord progression.

Movies:

Drama (with plenty of plot twists), Comedy, Action ( the plot must have a pupose), Sci Fi (an escape from reality with a moral lesson), Erotica (Did I mention that I am a Scorpio), Anime ( with adult subject matter), and Horror that emphasizes suspense over gore.

Television:

I watch a lot of CNN, MSNBC, Discovery, Adult Swim, TLC, Comedy Central, and Sci Fi Network amongst many others. Not much of a fan of reality TV because it is loosely scripted drama. Unneccessary conflict is also a turn off to me.

Books:

I read more for information than I do for entertainment. I don't really have any favorites here. The most recent Book that I read was A Purpose Driven Life.

Heroes:

My Dad was the last person that I wanted to be as a little boy. Though I still love him dearly, I see him now through a man's eyes. I may admire other people's style or talents, but my only desire is to perfect myself through enlightenment. There is no one I strive to be like, but there are many I respect.
