Recently releasing their fifth independent album ‘Ruins’, it is clear that this album shows a new level of maturity. ‘Ruins’ has been 3 years in the making, and does not disappoint. Recorded at York Street, New Zealand; mixed at The Grove, Australia; and master in New York, ‘Ruins’ manages to capture the atmosphere and presence of the music. Following on from ‘A Beautiful Life’, released in 2005, which sold well in New Zealand, Australia, United States and Japan, with over 10,000 copies being sold worldwide. ‘A Beautiful Life’ was also nominated for a Tui at the New Zealand Music Awards in 2006.
‘Sticks and Stones’ the first single release from the album is an appetiser to the rest of the album and has received air play on a number of New Zealand radio stations and the accompanying music video played on C4 and Juice TV stations. The boys are currently working on the video for their second single to be released off the album, ‘Brothers in Arms’.
If you haven’t got a copy of ‘Ruins’ yet, make sure you grab one as soon as possible .
