Strikey first began his journey through music when he was 8 years old performing in front of thousands of people singing at religious festivals around the country, from which he then began to play instruments such as the Tabla, Harmonium, and the Keyboard. As he grew older he began to play the Violin, and Harmonica which were short lived due to his interest in music changing.
He then found a passion for intelligently combining words to rhyme with the help from the Underground music scene. Soon after he discovered his talent he joined a group (FMK) which lead him into performing on radio on a regular basis, performing live at clubs (in the UK and abroad), and street battling. As time went on he grew independent and followed his passion for music on a more unique, sophisticated mature level which has lead him to where he is now.
At the age of 21 strikey is currently working on the release of his completed debut album ‘The Wait is Over’ which highlights the life and times of himself, showing various style beats with mixed elements of belief. Other then rapping and producing, strikey is also able to beat box and skilfully dance showing his immense passion towards music.
‘The Wait Is Over' is an album which is based around world issues and lifestyles which strikey has modified to create his interpreted story of life in his eyes. The album consists of 18 tracks which will give the listener varied styles of music genres from R’n’B to Slow Jams, from Hip Hop to Grime/Garage, and Commercial Pop, showing how strikey can adjust tempo, style and flow to create a unique sound in every track. Featured artists include Eloquence, Stakzo, and Nadia amongst others. Strikey wishes many thanks to everybody involved in the strikey project, Stu-D-O for mastering and Engineering, Eloquence Rhythms for inspiration, everyone at studio, and those who support the strikey project.
