About Me

Chew TV is a pioneering web TV channel run by and for young people. It gives a voice to young people and provides a platform and network for new talent in digital media. Chew TV is all about young people having their say and making their voice heard whilst showcasing their film making talents to the film and TV industries globally. Both in terms of the organisation itself and the work that it does, Chew TV is on a constant mission to reach more and more young people and give them new exciting opportunities to do something and get involved. As a new medium Chew TV is constantly evolving and developing as young people use and react to the site and shape the future of their own channel.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Chew TV - the UK’s premier Web TV channel run by young people is hungry for your work so we want to hear from any budding, young filmmakers, animators, writers, photographers, musicians, artists, basically anyone who feels they have something to say and that the media doesn't represent their views and would like to have their work showcased to industry professionals all over the world. Our channel displays short films made by young people, students and independent filmmakers as part of a targeted programme schedule as well as being available on demand in a more familiar Web TV format. But this is no YouTube. Happy slapping and favourite boxing knockouts are not what we are after. Not just anything gets on the channel, our youth led Content Crew makes these crucial decisions.Chew TV offers a serious showcasing opportunity and we allow all filmmakers to retain copyright of their work unlike some money grabbing, video sharing sites.Sign up at www.chewtv.com to upload video or post submissions on mini DV or as a AVI/QuickTime file on a disc (not an encoded DVD) to Chew TV Submissions, TwoFour Studios, Estover, Plymouth, PL6 7RG. One submission form to be completed with every entry. If you want any more information please contact Anais on: [email protected] press enquiries please contact Max on: [email protected]
