About Me

..A Little About Me... Wait! Don't let the far away picture scare you, some people really do get better looking the closer you get.Hi, I'm Steve Clark. Thanks for invading 'my' space. Hopefully it will be here where I will find and catch up with some of my old High School buddies & maybe even make lots of new friends too in and around the Myspace community. I'd love to share with you here a very interesting and highly entertaining part of my life both before and after my days with the mighty "Blue Heaven." Who's that you say? Why that'd be none other than my 80's hair band -during- the 80's! *curious to see who would even remember us quite honestly. lol.Ok then, allow me to take you there. It's 1981 & let's just say that this semi-popular local rock group featured the very talents of well, a considerably younger version of me on drums, the incredible Jimmy McFarland (L/G), the above par, lol, Tim Brown (B/G), along with the screaming antics of Scott Robinson & later the not so screaming Tony Smith on... you guessed it, (L.Vcls.) all the way up until its untimely demise of around say late 1986 if memory serves me correctly. For a brief moment in time and starting our conquest in the Fern Creek area of Lou.,KY., we ruled the stages of not only our High School pep rallies held in our school gyms and theatres, but in addition, even a local Skating Rink too! But wait. There's more. Our story gets even more impressive as it would seem as if almost overnight that we would soon be headlining much fancier rooms, in other words, not playing at our schools, lol, and moving on to the likes of the elegant Executive Inn Hotel to next scaling the heights of local band stuperstardom @ the now torn down 'Family Billiard World,' 'Sinbads,' 'Mickey's Tavern,' 'Traxx,' and now that I think about it, a Culvertown Halloween Party, a Carl Casper Custom Auto Show Band Battle, where I'm sure we placed somewhere in at least the top 50 & to even rocking the Toy Tiger way back when too like 4 or 5 times! Now how's that for starters? Pretty impressive huh? Yeah, not too shabby. lol.Wow. Seems like about 10,000 yesterdays since those days. FYI: I believe we mighta even gave ol'Spanky Lee a scare once or twice at 'FBW' or better yet at our biggest and coolest show ever, the outdoor rock fest at '7th & Arcade' of 1986! We ruled! lol. Though to be honest, much more often than not they usually won the battle. But, hey in our defense they always had better gear. lol. Not to mention singing like birds didn't hurt'em much either. I know, a poor craftsman always blames his tools right? Now, some of you... ok, maybe more like many of you may be just a wee bit more familiar with what I've been up to past that point and may know me better from my much more recent successes tied along with my pride and joy, the super Kiss tribute phenomenon: "KISS ARMY - The Coolest Band In The World." You should most certainly check us out sometime @ www.KISSARMYRULES.com, as well as www.myspace.com/coolestkisstribute & join our alliance as soon as you can get around to it before we become the world's next biggest thing so you can say "I saw them just before they made it to the super big time!" I beieve that's what's coming next. Look at my slideshow and you tell me if I'm onto something here. I'd love to share these experiences with those who also believe in never giving up on their dream(s). Challenge me and check us out a.s.a.p! And mark my words I'm sure you'll be just as proud of me as my mama is & I'm Steve Clark and I approve this message. What I'm Looking For...Honestly. I know this is going to sound stupid but all of those really cool mail offer toys ie: decoder rings, X-Ray glasses, bully spray, etc., etc. that I never got after sending in the box tops and proofs of purchases w/my allowance! Ugh. Still gets on my nerves! lol. Now, what I'm -really- looking for? Well, nothing more than a few things here lately, problem is they're all BIG. ie: striving at taking "KISS ARMY" to all new levels around the world usually ends up taking 1st place. But, sharing it all with my ideal hottie girlfriend is what can -really- make it all worth an extra damn which honestly is quite a task well within itself so we won't go there just yet. lol. I'm just trying to make the best of lifes opourtunities and see something very special to me through to its destiny. I'm the type that simply wants to believe and see -all- things that I truly believe in become reality somehow, someway. That's it. There you have it. And without ever giving up on my dream(s) has been what's helped me to make so many priceless memories. Especially for not being in an actual original recording group. The belief system. That's my formula. Write it down while you have a moment. It really works. And I'm very fortunate to have experienced all that I have from choosing this road as a path to achieve many of the goals in my life. Pretty deep huh? That'll be $19.95 plus s/h. lol Ok, if you're familiar w/"KISS ARMY," "Hotter Than Hell," or "Strutter" then odds are you've probably seen me w/Kiss makeup on more times than without dating as far back as 1992 first w/"Strutter," a national touring tribute monster performing an avg. of 300+ shows a year in just my first two years w/the group & almost everywhere, 5 to 6 nights a week packing prestigious clubs, theatres, you name its, one after the next. Highlights? The cover/ent. section of the NY Times, SOLD OUT shows @ the IMA Ctr. Arena/Flint, MI., The Mirage/Mnpls, MN., The Moon/Tallahassee, FL., Bogart's/Cincinnati, OH., Excalibur/Chicago, IL. to being pro-videotaped/photographed by 'the' Mark Weiss backstage before our show @ a NY Kiss Expo, then to having Gene Simmons & Paul Stanley as *guests*, interviewing us w/a video crew before our show @ the FM Station/Hollywood, CA. to packing the Toy Tiger every 9 weeks or so just to name a few. Oh, & Peter Criss played on my kit too! Shew. Ok...Next w/"HTH" we'd perform 'for' KISS on their 1st official Convention Tour of '95/'96 for 2 weeks being hailed as their favorite amongst only a few other groups lucky to open for them + more of the same ol' same ol'."KISS ARMY?" - You name it. Universal Studios, Los Angeles w/15,000 in attendance, The Whisky a Go-Go w/5 opening bands, 16 shows @ the Monte Carlo Casino, LV/NV., the Notre Dame ACC Arena of Southbend, In., 1 mo. @ Six Flags/NJ., the Pipeline Cafe-Honolulu, HI., the Suncoast & Sunset Station casinos-Las Vegas, NV., the House of Blues Orlando & Chicago, 2 sold out Hooters Swimsuit Finals - St. Louis & Atlanta, GA., Chopper X-po/Atlantic City, NJ., Hawaiian Tropic Swimsuit Finals - HRC/Key West, Headlining opening night of 'Rocklahoma'-Pryor, OK. to closing the festivities for the mighty KISS Coffeehouse Grand Opening w/13,000 in attendance including Gene Simmons, Paul Stanley & Doc McGhee! Not too shabby right? Oh, and how could I not mention singing "Beth" to Lydia Criss, the Queen of KISS live onstage with cameras flashing like strobelights on us? Now, that's priceless. And most recently an unbelievable trip to Lima Peru & playing musical hosts for the first ever "Downtown Countdown" in Pensacola, Fl. in front of over 50,000 screaming fans?? How's that for a Kiss dress up resume??! So, naturally I feel I have good reason to believe that I'm really onto something here. I'm sure the fans of our group would most certainly agree. I finally feel like people are really starting to appreciate all of our hard work and that's a great feeling. What's next? You wouldn't believe me if I told you. But, you're all invited to celebrate with us when it happens. Yes, even you naysayers too. Get ready.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Brooke Burke. No wait, Kim Kardashian. Hold on, how about that super hottie from Desperate Housewives! Wait. Carmen Elektra. No. Brigette Wilson? Ok. Like that's ever going to happen. Let's go with lots more fans!~ perfect answer. John Bonham. Keith Moon. Mitch Mitchell. Ginger Baker. Brian Downey. Alex Van Halen. These guys are among my all time idols of rock drumming. Thankfully, I've met Peter Criss several times over the years and he was phenomenal to even meeting the late great Eric Carr. Now, that was something else. He truly taught me so much about how to appreciate and respect a fan. All 3 times that I met him he made an incredible and unforgettable impression on me as not only a great drummer for the next decade of KISS but as a genuine good hearted and down to earth humanbeing. Total class act and a great sense of humor too. I truly modeled myself after him throughout the entire 80's era of the group but as an entertainer once I was given the chance to perform professionally to this very day. He made an impression on me that I'm proud that I met him for and that I've tried to live up to when I meet fans of our band. Thanks Eric~

Steve Clark He told me I was "good enough to be in Kiss and nobody would know it's wasn't Peter." The tragic loss of a man, mentor and friend like Bill Aucoin is simply undescribab...
