About Me

To start I am like nobody you have ever met. Alot of things are important to me. I love art and reading. Painting is a passion of mine, even tho I don't get to do it as much as I would like. I collect records and old radios. I think I have 30 Barbra Streisand records. Also, I have been trying to start a collection of old books. So far its small, maybe 20. When I read them its like going back in time, when the world was a little younger. I'm easy going and am just another person trying to find my place I guess. Usually I hang out close to home unless Tahoe takes me on a late night run to Target. I write when I'm by myself. There is a place in my dreams I would rather be, and Im working slowly to get it. I am here and sometimes there, most of the time black white.........always red.... So I guess that makes me unique, just like everyone else.

My Interests

Well I love to paint, OR read about art. I love all kinds of history. From Biblical history to the war between the states. There is always this desire to find people who can teach me about something I dont know about. I love going to church and doing what I can to help out during the week. This is the link to my church. Music is one of the most important things 2 me. I love all kinds.......Carly Simon, Bette, Babs and Cher ,Bjork, Barry ,Madonna, Erika, The Mommas and the Pappas, Mozart, Bach , Zarah Leander, Regina Spektor, M.Ward, Big Band, Classical, Hymns, Gregorian chants to name a few..... I love to drive or walk around and listen to music. Most of the time I listen to The River, NPR, OR Sunny!! its sooo relaxing!

Movies:

I love movies! Most of all old films. Like Sunset Blvd or Hitch movies.... as long as its good and sometimes really sappy!!! Vincent Price flicks, anything with James Dean...HOTTIE!,Film Noir, Sunset Blvd, Hush Hush sweet Charlotte (Bette Davis is a diva!) The Notebook, Bridges Of Madison County (the best film ever btw, next to Gone With The Wind) Too Wong FOO, Bridget Jones Diary, Run Lola Run, Love musicals!!! Funny Girl, Funny Lady, Cabaret, Sound of Music, Want to have a movie night?!

Television:

The SIMPSONS! Family guy, King of the Hill, Keeping up Appearances, Ab Fab! British Comedy Rocks! Most of the stuff on PBS! Law and order SVU, The View, Are you being served?, The Office!

Books:

Humm... I do love to read.I read all kinds of books. I just finished The Husks Of Life. Its a romance novel from 1925. I don't really know what to read next ... maybe Wuthering Heights....From history to trashy romance novels. Have you read any good books lately?
