About Me

I am an "Artist." I am self-taught. The media I use mostly are: pen-and-ink and AdobePhotoshop. My immediate goal is to make my living creating art (ideally for the Rock 'n Roll world). I got my start as a result of doing a drawing of Ben Harper. A moment after showing him the piece I saw a look in his eyes that contained the greatest reward I could desire. That was ten years ago and I'm still at it today.Recently, I began to create ambigrams after stumbling across John Langdon's book "Wordplay" (johnlangdon.net). "Ambigrams" are words that (most often) read identically when rotated 180 degrees. The image on the background of this page is an ambigram for the word "Marley". I have some others that need fine-tuning and then I will make them available for viewing.I've done some freelance work for several musician friends of mine, including Nico Georis, Rushad Eggleston, and Michael Franti. An exciting moment in my life was when the t-shirt I did for Spearhead was finally debuted - at THE FILLMORE in San Francisco. What a thrill!
