About Me

In a market saturated with mass-produced products designed to look "homespun", The Ladies Independent Design League seeks to promote the importance and legitimacy of goods that pay heed to tradition and craftsmanship and recognizes the relationship between the fine arts and applied arts.
We are tired of the limited options available and strive to overthrow the system with a subtle mix of art and commerce through monthly networking events, designer's markets, fashion shows, website sharing, and other collaborative efforts. LIDL serves as a support system and resource for independent business owners and crafters who want to take their work to the next level.
We, the LIDL, are here to prove that independent designers can create products that are useful, fashionable, and unique with quality and worth that far surpasses the big business bullies.
