. Zacky Vengeance owns his own clothing line, called "Zacky V. Presents..." It features the popular "Vengeance University" line, featuring shirts and belt buckles.
. Synyster Gates also has a clothing line due out, titled "Syn Gates Clothing.

. The Rev and Synyster were both members of the band Pinkly Smooth, formed with members of the now-extinct band Ballistico. The Rev sang and also recorded drums. Former Avenged Sevenfold bassist, Justin Sane, was also in the band.
. Zacky Vengeance was a baseball player in high school and has said that if he were not in a band, he would have pursued a professional career.

11 Questions With M. Shadows
1) Who is your favorite superhero or super villain and why?
M. Shadows: I love Batman because hes just a human with cool toys and I'd have to do with the Joker for villain... yeah I know pretty typical.
2) What is your favorite late night snack when you're in the studio or out on tour and why?
M. Shadows: On tour anything I can eat late is great.. in the studio probably cheap 40's.
3) Who or what are your NON-musical influences and why?
M. Shadows: Probably my Dad. He's my best friend and I really look up to him a lot.
4) What is the motto you live by?
M. Shadows: "Do what you love or die unhappy."
5) Which do you prefer, performing music live or creating it in the studio and why?
M. Shadows: I like creating music, live is great but sitting down and recording and writing songs is amazing to me. You get to be more creative and it's never repetitive.
6) What was the first concert you ever went to?
M. Shadows: I went to a few little local shows when I was very young with our drummer The Rev. I think Reel Big Fish was playing before they hit it big.
7) Do you remember the first album you ever bought? Was it on CD, vinyl, cassette or 8-track? Why did you buy it?
M. Shadows: I had a lot of tapes that my dad gave me such as Guns N Roses and Nirvana, but the first CD I bought was Pearl Jam's Ten. I bought it right when CD players were getting popular.
8)What is your favorite album and why?M. Shadows: My favorite album is Use Your Illusions II by GnR. I think it's got a lot of feel and so much was put into those songs. It just really feels like a full album to me.
9) Name a musician that you've always wanted to work with but haven't yet and why?
M. Shadows: Philip Anselmo (vocalist for Down/Pantera/Superjoint Ritual). I haven't worked with him because I've yet to meet him.
10) If you could change one thing about the music industry, what would it be?
M. Shadows: All the slim, bald old men that think they know whats "hip" for the kids.
11) What is your favorite book?
M. Shadows: This is horrible but I really don't read much. You'd have to ask someone else that question.
