About Me

The Book Club synopsis:Kate (Cicely Mendoza) has been sailing the seas of love searching for the woman of her dreams. When she reluctantly joins a book club as a favor to her friend Hannah, what begins as a chore quickly turns into recess when Kate recommends a lesbian novel to the group of unassuming straight socialites. As the book club members dive into the novel, the story comes to life as the dashing female pirate "Raven" seduces damsels while hunting for buried treasure.Meanwhile, Kate's love life isn't nearly as exciting. She has a crush on Hannah. When the women are together, Kate suspects Hannah feels the same. But Hannah has a boyfriend. So Kate's best friends, Frank and Travis, try to help Kate get over Hannah by setting her up on a series of blind dates.Back in bookland, the novel has invigorated the book club members and stimulated their sexual appetites. When they meet to discuss the novel, juices are flowing. After the meeting, Hannah asks Kate to stay and help clean up. Will this be the "happy ending" that Kate desires?
