Pierre (THOUGHT!! HE WAS!!) born in River Dale Illinois, witch was an urban suburban community.
He was the oldest of 4 kids.,3 brothers and one sister. At the age of 14 he moved to the city, South Side Englewood, Chicago and attended William A. Hinton grammar school. In 2005 he graduated. After graduating he attended Paul Robeson High School, because it was the neighborhood school and he felt that he didn’t want to attend any other school because of the burden of waking up early in the morning to catch the bus to a far out school. His mother wasn’t really happy about his decision because she had heard stories about Paul Robeson and that it was a bad school. But despite that she just fell through with the plan and let him make his own decisions.
Growing up PIERRE was always into music, he would always, when ever the chance presented it self purchase cds and tapes. At the time his favorite hip hop artists were mc hammer and usher. As a youngster Pierre would always try 2 imitate ushers dance moves witch he viewed on a cable TV video shows called Bet and MTV.
Witch displayed musical videos of the projected artists.
Later on in life by the time Pierre moved to the city he was introduced to a different genre in style of music later on he came to find out was called, Ghetto House music witch was beats speed up to a faster tempo following hard basses and frazes. Pierre was first introduced to this style of music when one day he attended this place called Marcum Skating Rink in witch he unatindingly tagged along with his older aunts.
This was an urban teen hot spot located in a suburban area called MARKUM Illinois.
During this, the experience and scenery was something never before seen to young Pierre.
After the experience Pierre was no longer interested in any style or genre other than house and Juke music and would go to the local malls and head directly to the mix tape stands every chance he got.
At the age 13 he purchased his first mix tape titled: king of juke by a Ghetto House dj/producer that went by the name Dj Chip.
Every chance Pierre got he would bang this cd all day in night until one day his mother would take the tape and told him he could only play it on the weekends. Then one day Pierre purchased a portable tape cd player and would bring it 2 school and let other children hear it, until one day it got disruptive and the teachers confiscated it. Witch doing this resulted in a parent teacher conference and a 2 day suspension. Once this was done Pierre was almost every chance put on punishment for every time he would purchase another tape/cd player and get it confiscated at school.
His mother was so fed up with it that she just new he would consist 2 do this because of his passion and just let it happen. By the time of Pierre’s 15th birthday he had over 4 Ghetto House juke cd’s and tapes. His favorite cds of course were Ghetto House producer: Dj Slugo’s: Card board booty, and dj solo’s 2 ghetto 4 TV. cd/dvd.
These cd’s were played by Pierre on the regular until one day his mother heard dj slugo’s foul profanity and nude sexual contents and frazes and confiscated all of the cd’s.
After this was done Pierre was ecstatic and would try 2 brake all the rules and get into fights every chance he got. It went 2 the points were Pierre got arrested for bribery and bike and petty theft of the local community. Pierre would as a result of his music taken away consult to partial gang banging and mob action as an expression of his feelings and hurt. Until one day he and his mother sat down and talked and explained each others feelings and emotions. After that Pierre was granted back permission to obtain his passion for his music and received all his confiscated cds and tapes, but he had to agree to his mother’s terms and conditions: be cool in school and stay out of the streets and stop hanging around the wrong crowd.
Pierre agree to the terms and fell threw with most of them with a few of them broken, but over all he succeeded.
Later on by the end of age 15 Pierre got so passionate and so serious about this particular style of music that he decided to try to make his own.
As a result he was in a pursuit of trying to figure out how to go about doing this and what equipment 2 get and use, until one day he was at his high school friends house and was introduced to an internet site that went by the name of myspace.com witch was an online chat room and messaging advertising site for the world.
During this experience his friend taught him how to use it and how to set up him a profile.
This action resulted in the discovery of his child hood inspiration Dj Slugo. Shortly after discovering Dj Slugo’s my space page Pierre would send and type messages to slugo every day until one day Mr. Slugo returned his message, Pierre was shocked and stunned.
Then one day Mr.slugo invited Pierre down to his studio head quarters called the Swift Mansion witch was also the recording head quarters of a record label called C wal recordings witch was started and founded by a well known producer/rapper Traxster.
After this event Pierre would make frequent trips mainly on Sundays to the studio to be given advice and direction by Mr. Slugo. After a while Pierre would get the mist and feel of the trade and how to go about making his own works.
Pierre was amazed about what he had learned but was in frustrating difficulty about making his own sound. Not having the funds to get or acquire the same unique equipment Slugo and other producer’s used. Pierre used this program called fl studio 4.3 also known as fruity loops witch was an affordable music production sequencer computer program made for producers who have tight budgets.
After acquiring the program Pierre produced a couple of traxs but was frustrated and didn’t like the results. Pierre quickly turned back to Mr. Slugo for advise, and the advise he gave him was get a job and stack your money and get you something better.
Pierre did just that he hooked him up a little summer job and stacked all his money until the next year winter 2006 he finally had a decent amount of ends but not enough to get what he was looking for, until the next visit he discovered a drum machine that Mr. Slugo had sitting far off in a corner and asked why he didn’t use it. And Mr. Slugo replied by saying that it was out dated and it wasn’t any use for it anymore.
So Pierre was curious to see how it worked and asked Mr. Slugo if he would show him how to work it, fed up with Pierre and his curiosity Mr. Slugo agreed to show Pierre how it worked after that Pierre was ecstatic and fell in love with it. And every week end Pierre would try to make his way down to the Swift Mansion every chance he got just to fiddle and play with the Akai MPC 2000 Drum Machine until one day Mr. Slugo saw how in love Pierre was with it and offered to sale it to him for a generous price, at first Mr. Slugo tried to con him by saying he would sale it to him for $ 700. Then later on the following week he offered to sale it to him for $ 500 dollars. From that point on Pierre hustled a little bit harder and finally came up with enough but was at a crisis point he had to pick between buying new shoes and clothes for summer school or buying his destiny. Pierre had enough to get his shoes and clothes but was $150 short on buying the drum machine, Pierre swallowed his ego and went on and purchased the drum machine from
Mr. Slugo with the help of his step father Mr. Frederick Terrell.
From that point on Pierre began his journey. Today Pierre is place among some of the top new generation of Ghetto House Dj’s and is contributing and helping to shape the Juke evolution by spreading the Juke era all around the World, his popular fraze and saying is : “JUKE TILL THE WORLD BLOWâ€!!!.
Today Pierre go’s by the name of the one and only (JUKE-TA-STRA-FE) AKA DJ PIERRE
And to this day is still signed and rolling with his child hood inspiration Ghetto House god fathers: Dj Slugo and Dj Deeon along with his fellow team members of
