About Me

An art teacher said to me while in Art Institute of Pittsburgh "Do not focus all of my energy into one field of art but to learn many forms of art and design, you do not know where you would end up". After Pittsburgh I've done portraits and odd jobs as an artist. I most enjoy drawing and also using pen and ink, oils and watercolors. I worked at Sears working in the display department for a few years which was fun but it wasn't quite what I wanted to do. I then met Crystal which soon she became my wife and I then landed a job doing t shirts at T Shirts International which was a cool job. Not satisfied with my situation moved to Rock Hill South Carolina which I then was working for Wateree Sportsware, learning how to print tee shirts which led me to another T Shirt company Rah Rah Sales which I also printed for. I then landed an artist job in Charleston South Carolina were things really started to take off for me. I was working for JW Shirtworks as an artist but my computer skills in doing graphic art was lacking. Back in the early 90's graphic design using the computer was still new. So I then went into heavy study in computer graphic design. I found that to stay afloat as an artist in these times I had to adapt. I've been working with Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, CorelDraw & Freehand. I work with both Mac and PC's. After several years of working and living in South Carolina, when Gabriel was born Crystal and I decided to move back home to be close to the family. Working then in Huntington West Virginia as a artist for Ocean Graphics for a few years doing alot of tee shirts for Marshall University then I landed the job which I still have at T Graphics which I love. I've done tee shirts for YEARONE which is involved in building cars for movies, which I've done shirts for the production teams for movie like, Charlie's Angels, and 2 Fast 2 Furious. Also I've done tee shirts for the TV show OVERHAUL and occasionally shirts for Mountain Stage. Now after seven years at T Graphics I'm now going back to my roots in art "PAINTING". My goal in the next several months or so, is to design my own T Shirts and then market them. Wish me luck.~ ~ ~ ~ ~..My Purpose.Life is GoodWe did alot of camping when I was a kid.
