Myspace LayoutsBUCKLEPP PROMOTIONS, is Dublins newest event and artist promotions organisation. Set up at the tail end of 2006 by 4 young dedicated ambitious music management students studying at the BCFE in Ballyfermot. We have two basic aims, 1. To stage constant live events through out the capital featuring the crop of Irish unsigned artists, and artists from overseas, and 2. To promote unsigned Irish acts to the best of our abilities. We will be in constant contact with various Irish and UK labels/managers/publishers/entertainment magazines/newspapers and many peeps involved in the highly energetic music industry who will be constantly invited to our events.Though we are four young students, I can assure you that we are all experienced in the live running and promotions of live events. Conor and Niall are currently involved in Dublin based rock acts (Kids Dont Play It Safe and Azgard), Darragh is former guitarist and singer with Mullingar rockers Triega, and Susan has been involved in the staging of many live events in the capital over the past two years.We aim to specialize in " live unsigned gigs" with a personnal touch. No band is "just another band" to us, as much as being music promoters we are also fans of music and many acts that spread across many genres. We feel there are so many fantastic unsigned acts around the country that deserve so much more exposure and this is where we come in. As we are all (or have been) in bands we understand the needs of acts. We will supply the backline for all live events (so no more dragging drumkits onto buses).
