Idiot’s Logic is a 4 man band originating from North Wales. The band started out as a 4 piece that began while the boys were still at Emrys ap Iwan. Jonathan Hardway, singer and pianist, penned most of the songs and formed the band with best friend James Simpson on guitar, Craig Wyatt on drums and Llion Mortimer on bass guitar. The onset of university in September 2007 meant that Jonathan and James were often away so practises became difficult, but with the addition of an extra guitarist in the October, in the form of Joe Owen, gave the band that sound that they were missing and filled out their tracks. Sadly, James and the band had to go their separate ways, leaving the band with the original 4 piece setup. Over the past few years they have really formed their own sound, moving away from what friends jokily referred to as ‘so Radiohead it hurts’. This new and exciting band do gigs around Wales and the North of England, having played in the famous Cavern Club in Liverpool and Manchester Academy. Soon to be recording their new album entitled 'Middle Child Syndrome' the future looks bright for one of N.wales' most promising bands.
