Jedi is the part of Hip-Hop that has been missing for some time now. He delivers a raw in your face flow, with a eerie twist of melodic chants. The Jedi Knight lived most of his life, in the roughest streets of New Jersey. In 1995, he became a member in a group of five, called “The Dark Knights. They became well known from street battles, and local talent shows. Soon the Knights were discovered by a manager, ( Robert Carney) in 1996.
They moved on to bigger shows, opening up for hip-hop recording artists “Sporty Thievz†and many more. As the Dark Knights slowly parted ways, Jedi began to do features with several artist already in the game. In 1998, he managed to do tracks with (The Wu-Tang Clan), 2000 Lancelot from (The Black Sopranos), and 2001 Ciph from (The Billionare Boys Club). During 2000-2003, Jedi was working with DJ’s from all over. DJ Mr. Handz (H.O.T./ Handz On Training), DJ Donnie Ock (The Union), DJ Phantom (Now u see me, Now u don’t), DJ R.N.S (G.P. Wu Connection), and a few others. Now the Jedi Knight is currently working with the producers from (Draft Pick Ent.) to complete his solo project: “LowLives In High Placesâ€. This album has something everybody is going to like!….says Jedi. It took him two years in the studio to create a classic album which features “Killah Priest†of (Sunz of Man). Although unsigned, the Jedi Knight’s strong passion for hip-hop gained him the intrest of several major labels. Anybody can make a hit song, but not everybody has longevity in the game. This is a star quality that the Jedi Knight possesses. I guess the force must really be with him.
