My family which includes my favorite niece and nephew (K-lo and Evie). MUSIC! Creative, artistic endeavors. Writing. Poetry. The newness of life that comes every day. Laughter. Happiness. Joy. Peace. Calm. Fasting. A healthy lifestyle. The antithesis of drama.
I'd like to meet:
All races from all countries. He/She who is constant. Those with a similar spirit as well as those who are polar opposites; both that I can glean good things from. People with an open-mind about things that don't matter and God's mind about things that do. Those for whom peer-pressure was never an issue, like me. People who can impress me positively in an unexpected way. Anyone who is without a relationship with God and is interested in developing one. Healthy connections that encourage the greatness within. Those whose depth gets more exciting the deeper I go. REAL Christians who are living the life and proud of it. Some strong, intelligent people who want to get to know me and are respectful. People who can decipher when it's okay to write like they talk, and when to write like they are educated.
Music:
Everything (as long as it's clean).
Movies:
My favorite movie of all time is Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory (I know, how corny). Like independent films, foreign films, avante-garde films, action, kung-fu flicks like Drunkenmaster, suspense/thrillers, stuff with a plot and great acting. Big Jane Austen fan. Totally NOT a Tyler Perry fan unlike many of my persuasion. I'm not hatin' on Tyler but the plot is always the same ... a church woman tryin' to find a man. Time for some new ideas, dude.
Television:
There's not much on worth watching but I like CSI, Law and Order, Without A Trace (actually all the same show with different cast members). That's about it. Sometimes America's Next Top Model. Trinity Broadcasting Network always so I can get some new revelation for my life. If I'm at someone's house who has cable then Discovery, TLC, HGTV
Books:
The Millionaire Next Door (Read it!). The Second Man by Joel Scott Woods. Right People, Right Place, Right Plan by Jentezen Franklin. I don't read for the fun of it. Looking for the next good book that impacts my life.
Heroes:
Jesus Christ AND My late father, James L. Woods. My Mom the most virtuous, loving, beautiful woman that I know.
