About Me

The above songs are pretty old, in some cases very old. Better things are coming when I have the time to mix down some of the more recent 'summer in the studéos' sessions... patience shnay?!
Tom Fielder features on 'Treat Beats' playin his funky bass, and on 'Morse Code Boogie' playing some additional lead and rhythm guitar!
A long time ago in 2002 a guy gave me a sticker at Reading Festival. That sticker said "DON'T BE A DICK" in bigwriting.
Since that day, I've tried to live every day with that as my little creed. The sticker is still on my wall to this day!
Been making music and films for some time now... all began in the innocent (or maybe not) days of 2001. Ruptured Buboescertainly was not an innocent band, and Back Yard Death Match was no innocent film...
A year laterDieAwayFromMe took off as a big messy, funky mixing pot of blues, jazz, rock and psychedelia, and I was writing the words and singing them! We won awards, money, evengirls!
Oh the fun we had rocking around East Anglia in front of the thousands of people that must of got wild andcrazy seeing us over the years. We even got paid to play a wedding on the Isle of Wight! And then, the inevitablehappened, and everyone (myself included) went to Uni.
Now that I've been sent to Coventry I'm still workingon the solo stuff- some of which you're probably hearing now. Yes, I know DAFM was much better... was a lot more funtoo (well, most of the time).
I've played harmonica live on a regular basis with the legendary Modal Monks , as well as improvising along side blue meastro Tom Colborn .
On top of all this, I am currently resident lickin' stick operator for those groovy groove rockers Free Will and The Bad Influences , a must hear for your ears!!
What else is there to say? I like good music, good times, good weather, good people and Strawberry Fair. I generally try to spend as much time as possible laughing or making other people laugh. I believe anything you can perceive is open to interpretation...
I've been putting off making a MySpace for so long now, knowing that if I started doing it, it would become anotherperfectionist obsession like most things I create... curse my creative soul! A least joining the online slum of the world has temporarily cured my boredom and insomnia!
Virtual friend making is for losers anyway! YOUALL SUCK BIG TIME!

And that concludes the current contents of my MP3 player at present... there's plenty more though!

Sounds Like: Dylan, Ginsburg & Kerouac sitting down together and getting ripped in order to write the words that Beck and Syd Barrett will sing as a duet under the Fort St. George bridge, a thousand ghosts from the Mississippi Delta haunting their every breath. Crazy beebop rhythms and wild boogaloo swings beat the eternal drum of kaleidoscopic jingle jangles and distorted slide guitar, warped patterns of rhythm and blues punctuate the sounds of past, present and future; sometimes wild & ferocious, sometimes quiet & gentle, but never the same twice. Painting the inside of your ears with a million colours you've never experienced, and never even dreamt possible
...that's the idea anyway...
