About Me

About me...about me...ahh yes, i'm jeremy. I like quirky jokes and humour thats considered to be in poor taste. I like to sometimes drive around the backstreets of 'bee aimlessly, pondering the meaning of life - well, not that deep, perhaps pondering what's for tea. I live in a house of both current and former mitre 10 employees. We are rarely if ever all four of us in the house at the same time. I dislike people who try to force their beliefs and opinions onto others. I love my friends, i like my acquaintances and i enjoy walking around uni and running into someone i had a class with - once - two years ago, and calling them 'mate' only because i can't remember their name. I like playing pool during micro at therapy and i like to sleep in. Also, i usually only enter into arguments when i know i'm right, so if i've bothered to make a deal outta something it's because i'm pretty adamant about it (Dane, Pat and the Clostridium incident don't count (okay, okay, they're rods, we get it)). Oh yeah, i hate it when people repost bulletins on myspace so that their one true love might possibly ring them on friday, or saturday, well surely sometime in the next week, or two. Dammit, if you're expecting a call from someone, do you really think that reposting the fucking bulletin will make them ring? Go read the horoscopes, you hippies. Im jeremy, baby.

My Interests

I have an interest in what most people have to say. I have an interest in the past. I have an interest in things that not many people know about. I have an interest in fondling my guitar and mumuring into my mic.

I'd like to meet:

I'd really like to meet my brother and sister from dad's first marriage. I think it's crazy that there are two people out there, in their 30's, who share the same dad as me, whom i have never met.

Music:

Im really, really into Elliott Smith at the moment. I don't know what appeals to me so much about his music, not many people like it, an acquired taste I guess. It's graceful, lonely and fragile.

Movies:

Saw the Royal Tenebaums the other day. Was Impressed.

Television:

Since moving out of home, my life has been devoid of television. This is mainly because we have been too silly to put an aerial and a TV next to each other.

Books:

I read a book recently called 'the five people you meet in heaven' by Mitch Albom. It was pretty good, might even read some of his other books.

Heroes:

Stretch Boy and Clobber Girl.
