About Me

The basics... single gay male hairdresser. sounds tragically stereotypical I know, but i like to think that i'm unique... my friends assure me i am, but they could just be saying that to dodge the brewing tempest... i'm a hardworking guy, and spend most of my time focused on myself... i mean, my career... i have recently launched my boutique salon, tempest hair onto the streets of adelaide, and am having a blast commencing a new era... check out the tempest myspace at www.myspace.com/tempesthair

My Interests

well most of my life is consumed by work, or work related interests. anything in the fashion industry, hair, photography, design, etc etc... to view my editorial work look to the left... i am a country boy, and as they say, you can take the boy outta the country, but you cant take the country outta the boy... i enjoy weekends away, going to the farm, fishing and shooting targets with my dad, i love cars and motorbikes, getting drunk with my mum, singin real loud with my sister, and spoiling my neice like she were my own... i love hangin with my friends, whether it be round my infamous kitchen table named paris, or staying out all night dancing... eating out, driving with my roof down and big sunnies on, reading my tarot, putting the feet in the sand, and i dont mind a 20 minute session in a sunbed every once in a while...

I'd like to meet:

Music:

those who know me know my very first word was TINA... i do have an unhealthy obsession with tina turner, which was spawned in the womb im sure... my mum was stoked, my dad was devo, but nontheless its true, my first word was tina. aside from the queen of rock, im into house music... hairdresser house, arms in the air kinda stuff. i like my dirty hip grinding tracks, i love my ballads, a l'il bit of jazz, am a sucker for world music.

Movies:

im not good at this one, relaxing is not one of my favourite activities. the only film i have managed to sit thru the whole way several times, is reality bites. loved it in high school, but it has a few themes that make much more sense now...

Television:

now thats even harder than films. despite the fact that i have a big beautiful television adorning my living room, i can honestly say that its been on 3 times in my life as a solo home dweller. and thats because visitors of mine have insisted that idol goes on... i still dont get it...

Books:

if it inspires and motivates me, i'll give it a shot...

Heroes:

oh, too many. this could be like an oscars speech... but Tina Turner, of course, my mum, my sister, the fabulous miss terri, lilly romano and she-ra, princess of power...
