When I hit the drum you shake the booty!

About Me

I was born on new years eve 1971 in a pink hospital in Tulsa, OK. I think I might have skipped the crawling and walking stages of my early developement and took off running as soon as my feet hit the ground. I was a restless child and my mothers hair turned grey when I was just a young lad. I have since learned however to slow down long enough to enjoy life to the fullest. Currently I work as an electronics tech for a fire alarm and security company, and I love doing it. My office is on 4 wheels, and I get to go everywhere and see everything, so most days it's kinda like the ultimate field trip! I love riding my motorcycle and playing the drums, which I have played almost my entire life. When I was 20 and 21 I lived in Hollywood, CA where I went to music school, played in bands, wound up living across the street from my then hero Henry Rollins, and had way way to much fun for my own good (but not with Henry, he doesn't really like fun all that much) so I came skidding back into Oklahoma out of breath, out of money, and wanting badly to turn back around and do the whole thing over again. Those who cared about me were growing concerned. They wanted me to settle down, so I met a girl. I got married. I really didn't settle down that much. I got divorced. Nowadays I am a gratefull member of Alcoholics Anonymous (oops just blew my anonymity....oh well) and have learned to enjoy life without the special sauce (or other things) and I am truly having the time of my life. I am single, I have no kids, but I do have a dog Barney, who's like a kid. I have alot of great friends, and have learned to love life one day at a time. I have seen hell on earth and never believed I could be as happy as I am today! :) Create or get your

I'm a complete headbanger at heart, but really I love all sorts of music, I am a music junkie!! Tool is the greatest band in the world in my humble opinion. Dark yet beautiful and well intentioned. I also like, Johnny Cash, Mazzy Star, The Beastie Boys, Alice In Chains, Deftones, Sublime, Lamb Of God, Kings X (one of the most awesome live bands on earth), Miles Davis, Willie Nelson, Rufus Wainwright, Dresden Dolls, Low, The Beatles, The Doors, Led Zepplin, The Chemical Brothers, Beck, Architecture In Helsinki, John Coltrane, Bjork, Leanord Cohen, Black Flag, Rage Against The Machine, Soundgarden, Panterra, Rollins Band, Nirvana, anything involving Dave Mathews, Tori Amos, Poe, Nine Inch Nails, Sarah Mclachlan, The Pixies, The Cure, Primus, Pearl Jam, The Flaming Lips, The Wipers, Cowboy Junkies, Curtis Mayfield, James Brown, Otis Redding, Clutch, Tom Waits, Buddy Guy, Bonnie Rait, Stevie Ray Vaughn, The Hosty Duo, Watermelon Slim and the Workers, Beth Hart (I love her), Black Sabath, Radiohead, A Perfect Circle, and I could go on for awhile but I'm sure you get my drift by now!!!!

Movies:

5 Easy Pieces, Heat, Smokey and the Bandit, Leaving Las Vegas, Slapshot, Office Space, a kind of obscure Billy Bob Thorton flick named Chrystal, Scent of a Woman, Easy Rider, Adaptation, all of the Blade movies, all of the Matrix movies, all of the Star Wars movies, One Flew Over the Cookoo's nest, Pulp Fiction

Television:

I really don't watch tv very much, but when I do I'll watch shows about building motorcycles or history

Books:

OK, I read ALOT of books....maybe too many! lol! The Spirituality Of Imperfection by Ernest Kurtz and Katherine Ketcham, A People's History of the United States by Howard Zinn, The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle, The Elegant Universe by Brian Greene, The Idiot by Fyodor Dostoevsky, both Healing Anger and The Art of Happiness by The Dalai Lama, the big book of Alcoholics Anonymous as well as other AA related material, Rotten by John Lydon, and everything by late author Hubert Selby Jr. The book I'm into the most lately is A New Earth by Eckhart Tolle. Books are sooo much better than t.v. KILL YOUR T.V.!!! :)
