At this point in my life, I am relatively happy and am looking forward to many more years. I try to live in the now - tomorrow is an iffy thing. I'd like to meet other people who live outside of my tiny sphere of this big, big world, and learn about new places, and things. I am comfortable with who I am. I want to be me, most of the time.MySpace Layouts at TweakYourPage.com

My Interests

I am a real music lover. I am passionate about reading, drawing and writing poetry. DMB inspires some of my poetry. I have written a couple of poems after listening to their music. I also love movies. I can really get lost in them and I have spent many a Sunday afternoon at the theatre all by myself. I like to scrapbook and am really into genealogy. I love finding out how my ancestors lived and I like looking back into the past in general. I often thought about being an archaelogist. How great would it be to uncover some 16th century town buried for thousands of years in the sand. Dave Matthews Book Store Solo

I'd like to meet:

Most of the people I would like to meet are no longer living. I would love to meet Robert Frost, and John William Waterhouse, the painter. I'd also like to meet Norman Rockwell. I would really like to meet my grandfathers and my great, great grandparents. To talk to them about their lives and the times they lived in. I would also have liked to meet Kahil Gibran. In the present, I would love to meet Dave Matthews and his band members. I'd just like to sit around and listen and watch them. It would be cool to hang with them & see them interacting with each other and to witness their work process. Maybe I could be a gopher for them!

Music:

Music is my drug of choice. My favorite band is Dave Matthews. I play their music almost exclusively now. His lyrics reflect my emotions and moods. The band's music sings to my soul. Some of my favorite musicians are Keb Mo', John Mayer, Creed, Three Doors Down, Santana, John Legend, Eminem, The Doors, Sarah McCloughlan, Ray LaMontague, Depeche Mode, Bare Naked Ladies, Talking Heads, Seven Nations, Nora Jones and the McIntosh County Shouters (check them out. They are awesome and unique. We need to preserve this type of music - it would be a shame to lose it) Music is a big part of my life. It is always playing in my house, in the car, at work (when I can get away with it), and even shopping. I like a lot of different types of music: Nattive American, Celtic, rock, pop, hip hop, some rap, alternative, jazz and blues. . Carter (Dave Matthews Band) - Say Goodbye

Movies:

All of the Lord of the Rings movies; Singing In the Rain, The Pianist,The Illusionist, Schindler's list, Duet, West Side Story and Shrek, any Bette Davis movie, Gene Kelly movies, Rent, and any musical - especially the old ones. I love movies of all kinds. I'm trying like mad to finish reading Eragon before it comes out in the theatres on December 15 - hope I make it, cause I really want to see how it was adapted from the book and I am really impatient.

Television:

All of the CSI shows, Criminal Minds, Supernatural, Lost and Battlestar Gallactica. Ugly Betty, Heroes, Meerkat Manor, Forensic File, Cold Case Files, The First 48, and 48 hour mystery. I watch a lot of Discovery programming and Animal planet.

Books:

The Lord of the Rings Trilogy, Harry Potter books, Night, anything by Nora Roberts. Outlander is a great book and I reread it every year, I love fantasy books, especially by Anne Bishop. I like romances, biographies and historical books. I also read true crime books - I am infinetly interested in trying to understand what makes people do the things they do. When I grow up I want to be a profiler. Recently
