Bottle Before was formed in early 2006, in Grand Rapids, MI. Jude and Matt S.
began the project and they soon came across Luke. The trio starting developing
music right away, all the time while trying to complete the band with the right
singer. Finally, they found Travis and things really started to come together.
The Bottle Before now performs all original material while on stage. In early
2007 the band started the search for a new bass player as Matt was moving to Florida.
After months of searching they eventually found Levi in May, 2007. Levi, ironically,
lived only a few blocks from the band's practice space. The band was once again
complete. Or was it? With the news of a baby on the way, Levi regretfully had
to step down as bass player for Bottle Before. Enter Dan; the newest member to
the band Dan was transitioned the hard way, learning the riffs on the road to
shows. For the time being the band is complete, however the notion of adding a
second guitarist is not far from becoming a reality.
