Born in Anaheim Ca.( home of Disneyland, The Ducks, And The Angels). Spent most of my early years @ my 3 favorite Haunts. Hollywood...Newport Beach....Lake Tahoe... When I wasn't surfing ,skiing, ( both water and snow) or working..I'd spend most of my nights at clubs catchin all the up and coming bands.( a total groupie you could say). The Whiskey-A-Go Go, The Roxy,The Rainbow, The Troubador Madam Wongs, were all my second homes. Great memories and fun times...I now call San Luis Obispo ( California central coast) my home. .I love my kids they are truly a blessing, they keep me young and active. ( Still have a good figure..of course those 5 a.m. intense workouts and my job help too).I can't complain too much about what cards I was dealt in this life, although losing a step son was probably one of the toughest trials I've had to face. He died unfortunately far to early in his life, do to negligence on his bio. Mom's part. Read my blog re: Dylan As an LVN/EMT/Medic in training I've seen so many deaths that could possibly have been avoided if people would just take a few minutes to properly secure themselves and their children in the car. Remember life is precious and fragile, treat it as such.
I Own a casino gaming biz.
For fundraising/bachelor/bachelorette/college/ private parties etc. Even though it's not Vegas, it is really a hell of a party ( People go nuts at these things). I used to do it full time until I became an EMT (Still working on getting my Paramedic Cert.) I worked as an LVN for many years but wanted to get out in the field to another career. ( I can't tell you how many career changes I've made in my lifetime so far) I've been a beautician/makeup artist, radio production assistant, account executive, waitress, general contractor, physical trainer for a chain of health clubs way back when the list goes on.... I am definitely a Jill of all trades. I have an incredibly great sense of humor ( albiet warped, were talking Monty Python warped)

I am the best friend you could ask for.( I don't judge unless you piss me off too many times), your secrets are safe with me and I love you for who you are ( your heart) not what you do or how much money you have. But screw with my family or friends & hurt them and I'm not responsible for what happens next.

That being said, I also am a very forgiving person. I believe everyone deserves a few of chances to redeem themselves. God knows I did!I have an infectious smile and love to laugh ( I even got the laugh lines to prove it).

I've learned thru Dylans death that life is too short to not live, love and laugh. There's just too much hate in our world. I cherish every experience ( good or bad ) that I've had because they have made me who I am today and I'm proud of that.I especially love the innocence, zeal for learning, and the beautiful, radiant, natural smiles of children. I learn so much from them. They can teach us adults a thing or two. I admire the veterens who have served this country, especially those closer to my fathers age. ( He died at age 82). A three time war veteran WW2, Korean & Vietnam. ...For you Daddy..... They have such a different outlook on life and I could sit and listen for hours on end to the stories they have to share. I believe in helping your fellow man/woman any chance you get, I guess you could call me a philanthropist of sorts. Too many people look the other way and could give a crap. My thoughts are A.) It's just the right thing to do if you are able. B.) You never know when you might be in the same boat and need help yourself. C.) It sets a good example for humanity and our children. D.) why the hell not!! I loathe cynicism, bigotry, deception, cruelty, ignorance, jealousy, people who take advantage of other people, and querulous people. I just don't have time for people who can do nothing but complain about their life, if you don't like your life than shut-up and do something about. Life isn't always fair so deal with it. I could understand if you lived in some third world country, and weren't given the opportunity to rise above your circumstances, but come on folks this is the U.S.A., at some point in time opportunity knocks at your door, so get off your ass and answer it. You get out of life what you put into it. Like Tim McGraw sings " Live like you were dying". Enough said for now.. That's your philosophy lesson for today! ( an after thought to the garb above regarding crybabies)
Yes I do understand that sometimes we are put in circumstances that for whatever reason have left us down and out, and in need of a helping hand. However, we also have so many available resources here in the states to help us out of any number of situations, God it just floors me how many excuses people make for not rising above and pursuing a higher quality of life. Trust me, I've been at the bottom of the barrel and had to fight my way out, so I know first hand how low one can go. That being said, just open your eyes, hand, heart and mind and ask for help if you need it. You can't get what you don't strive for. If you sit back and do nothing and let life pass you by, then guess what, you get nothing in return. Remember you can't see the light at the end of the tunnel if you don't first walk through the darkness of it. Now my philosophy lesson is really over. Rock on!!!!!
