Beverly Blair

I am a 21 year old Singer/Songwriter from Richmond VA. I have 2 brothers and 2 sisters and great parents, all of whom I love more than anything... I have always loved to sing... When I was 9 yrs old I sang karaoke for the first time in front of a large crowd... When I got off the stage I told my Mom I wanted to be a singer! Since that day I have been pursuing music as my passion and dream. I started taking vocal training when I was 12 years old, and studied Opera for 3 years. I joined the Chior in High School and traveled with them singing amazing Gospel songs up and down the East coast. During that time I started writing and fell in love with it, carrying a notebook everywhere i went. I also got involved in some local Theater, where i participated in 5 shows. When I was 18 I audition for a competition called Best New Talent, where I placed in the top 100. That same year I flew out to LA to record my first demo. My older brother Jake gave me my first guitar, I will forever thank him for helping me make music for my songs...By the time I was 19, I had been writing alot and I recorded 3 of my songs at a studio in Richmond. When I turned 20 I went to live with my Cousins in NY for the rest of that year. I moved to Nashville in January and have loved every minute being in TN...Since then, I have been auditioning for Labels and writing with fellow Writers. I have met so many amazing people here and have made so many great friends, I'm sure I will keep for life! I am very exciting to see where the Lord leads me on this journey! I will forever be thankful to my wonderful Parents for backing me up 110% and supporting me in all I do and dream to do! I love and miss you both the world!!
