Nimbus

So I hit 50 - I look 40ish; I act about 12...c'est la guerre. I have one daughter who is - shhhh - 2...er...2 and 8...ummm...28. Sigh. I have one live in boyfriend whom I love with all my heart - he is about 10 I would say...but really 37. He's an artist, a very good artist - which means he works as a custodian for a local school board but he has dreams... I'm also an artist but not as good - with a little hard wrok, I could have been a custodian too, but I had a kid to raise and I used to be married to Satan, so I had to find a better paying job. I've always been a fairly decent writer and I like computers - a natural geekette, I suppose - yes, love Star Trek, collect comic books and read science fiction. Anyhow, I discovered I had a knack for technical writing and here I've been for well over 15 years...writing manuals...wow... I live in an apartment with said male sweetie and two female cats - Pixel and Widget (told you I was a geek). I used to own a house...but then I trusted this lawyer and well...long story short, he's been disbarred, I am broke, my credit's been ruined, I'm in debt up to my eyeballs and I'm living in an apartment...I'll go into more detail about this later...it's an interesting if somewhat annoying story - as usual, I'll sort it all out...I always do..
