It's hard to do the right thing and always make the right decisions. Thank God for forgiveness. The soldiers who have died for this country cause I want to say thanks. All serial killers who have been executed because I want to know why?????????????????Of course, I would love to meet the man of my dreams, but is perfection really out there? I don't know ANY girl that's pickier than I am and I am very independent and don't need a man. I am pretty happy on my own. Does that make a great recipe for love....I don't know. For the right guy, it will be awesome, cause I so know what I want. I love hot guys, but they have to have a lot more than that going on. They have to love God, first and foremost. I'm not into cheesy playas (even though I know plenty of them). I am not looking, but I do hope he is looking for me. My motto for relationships: If you can't be happy alone, you sure can't be happy with someone else! A partner is suppose to compliment your life, not fix it.
Music:
I love female vocalists. All Motown artists. Alicia Keys, Joss Stone(even though I have been doing old Motown for years), Sheryl Crow, Black Crowes(favorite band ever), Stevie Ray, Aretha, Toni, Tori Amos, Mary J, Etta James, Ray, Johnny Cash, Kathleen Battle. Heck, I just love good singers. There is no substitute for good talent. Wish we had more of it. Forgot to mention Kelly Clarkson (not an Idol fan, but they did something right with her and I met Chris a few weeks ago and he's super talented and super cool!)
Movies:
Corny as it may be and as non-romantic as I am, I love "Against All Odds" amd "The Notebook". Other than that I love suspense, drama and thrillers. I love Sean Penn. I love Gene Hackman, Dennis Hopper, Anthony Hopkins, Morgan Freeman and Deniro. I usually like to do things where I am moving though. It's hard to get me to sit still for 2-3 hours.
Television:
I don't like much television, cause I think I have better show ideas. Too bad people keep trying to develop and steal my ideas. I do however love, love, love, CSI. It's my favorite show! I also love investigative news shows and I like the Bachelor (cause I think I should be the Bachlorette). How cool to date 25 guys at once(and they all know about it:)).
Books:
I'm a geek! I love self help books. I have a short attention span. If it's not riveting or very helpful to my life, I won't waste my time! I love the Bible, it has helped me through many situations in my life.
Heroes:
My daddy! He's the best man I've ever known. No man can hold a candle and the first one that does: I will marry!!!!! He's handsome, brilliant, has so much integrity, he loves the Lord, my mommy and his only child, ME!!! My grandfather. He was incredible, so strong and cool! Wow, if those aren't some role models for the men in my life to live up to. My mom, cause she is the strongest, most incredible woman I've ever known, she has shown me such inner strength, love, compassion and security, she's my best friend. No one can compare. I can't even go outside my own family, cause I don't need to.
