Formed late in 2005 by guitarist Jack Roadkill, who brought together members of other local bands, namely Arcane Church ( Harvey and previously Jov), Rob (Ballsack Redemption Curse), Wylfa (Pie) and himself, formerly of Holocene.
The Bitch (as they're affectionately known) began writing and rehearsing material at Backyard Studios on the Powys / Shropshire border where they toiled away for a few months until debuting at The Buck Inn, Newtown in May 2006. Since then they have gigged constantly, playing in a colourful variety of venues, to rave reviews and several angry fathers. Son Of A Bitch made their recording debut in January 2007, again at Backyard Studios, laying down seven tracks, four of which are available to preview above.
This band is all about having a good time, all the time. Dirty, filthy rock 'n' roll, all the way, with no quarter expected or given. There will be no apologies and no explanations. The gigs are a riot of swearing, taunting the crowds and flipping the bird to all the wankers who take themselves too seriously. Son Of A Bitch get right in your face with the first chord and don't get out until the dust's settling on the wreckage.
They are a blend of classic rock, metal aggression and no-holds-barred rock 'n' roll fury, taking notes from the Rolling Stones, Faith No More, Lynyrd Skynyrd and Emperor all at the same time!
